I was commissioned by Walk the Plank to write and record a script for River Stories – a night time spectacular which was presented on the River Thames at Reading in September 2017 at the inaugural Reading on Thames Festival. 

I also worked as performance director, training a group of 20 students from Reading College to perform a piece of outdoor performance for the first time. Half welcomed the audience to the event as members of The Royal Bevy of Swan Downers, introducing an atmosphere of anticipation and wonder at the arrival of the long awaited Great Swan of local mythology. Half presented a simple piece of choreography with flags, heralding the arrival of the Great Swan along the river.
