Jack Stoddart, Director of Ramshacklicious invited me to direct this multi-form project, funded by Arts Council England and supported by a residency from Nordland Visual Theatre, Norway. The project was initiated during the Covid Pandemic when we responded by making digital content and a doorstep show. However the project has developed over time, with the support of a range of partners.
Club Supreme is a lifestyle programme designed by CEO Wayne Mustard a.k.a. The Worshipful Master. Scratch the surface and you find a dubious pryamid scheme, wrapped up in the form of a hero-worshiping cult.
You may come across the club online with digital artwork created by the talented Edie Morris. In The Club Supreme Showroom you can meet some of the Worshipful Master’s Personal Assistants who assist the public in dreaming big. People are invited to undertake creative tasks in which they can imagine themselves transformed in various ways – the only limit is your imagination. The Showroom acts as a vehicle for the company to work with community performance groups and versions of this have been created with Super Culture in Weston Super Mare, Hijinx in Cardiff and Surge Festival in Glasgow.

The Club Supreme Roadshow presents real life case studies of successful routes to the top of the club and features an audience with the Worshipful Master himself. The audience are invited to compete for a place in the WM’s inner circle. How far would you go to become the most successful version of yourself?
This show is high energy, with puppets, video mapping and surround sound and was created through the support the Bath Fringe, Bath Spa University, Out There, Great Yarmouth, Green Man and a residential commission from Nordland Visual Theatre, Norway.
