Full Circle – Avanti Display

I worked with Bill Palmer and Pete Finnegan to create Full Circle for Avanti Display. This is a wonderful and curious event – part street show, part performance art and part social experiment involving 2 clowns and 120 buckets, where a pair of rather humourless operatives manipulate the audience into a situation where the the safety of one of their number is in their hands. Some chaos is inevitable.

The show has toured extensively across the UK and internationally, including Bath Fringe, Greenwich and Docklands International Riverside Festival, Circus 250 at Newcastle Under Lyme, The Sproi in Waterford (Ireland), Spoffin Festival in Amersfort (Netherlands), Freedom Festival in Hull and Out There! in Great Yarmouth, Ales Festival (France), Ansan Street Arts Festival (Korea) and Stepping Out in Bideford.

A sunny day with a blue sky in a town centre. We see a line of shiny, steel buckets in the foreground with people walking past and a crowd in the background
